Bridgnorth’s recently re-elected MP Philip Dunne has welcomed today's announcement by Shropshire Community Health NHS Trust of work to improve flooring at Bridgnorth Community Hospital.
The work involves replacing the floor on the ward at the Hospital and is expected to take six weeks to complete. Beds on the ward will be temporarily closed while work is undertaken sequentially to each bay, rather than having to close the ward entirely. The work is not expected to cause significant disruption for staff or patients.
Mr Dunne said “I am pleased Shropshire Community Health NHS Trust are investing in improvements to the floor of Bridgnorth Hospital.
The work is not expected to cause significant disruption, and it is sensible to do this work during the summer without having to close the ward completely.
I look forward to seeing the improvements once completed, and am pleased at this sign of continuing investment to ensure Bridgnorth Hospital remains in good condition to help keep patients safe.”
